My daughter & I have been taking these tablets for years. Are our livers going to be affected? Need more information. Nadia

Australian NaturalCare Response
The ingredient in the supplement that has caused concern is Fallopia multiflora, which has some historical evidence of liver injury. There were approximately 15 cases of liver problems reported from taking this product in the last 5 years. In every case the liver issues were reversed once the supplement was ceased. Not all people are susceptible to liver effects from the supplement, if someone has been taking it for a long time with no ill effects then it is unlikely the supplement has caused any problems. If you are concerned we suggest seeking advice from your doctor. For further information we recommend you contact Fusion directly by phone on 1800 550 103 or email health@globaltherapeutics.com.au.
