The active compound in turmeric, known as curcumin, is becoming increasingly known as a natural aid for the inflammation and pain of mild osteoarthritis. Regular curcumin is not very well absorbed by the body, with very little making it into the bloodstream to work on inflammation and pain. In fact, curcumin has poor bioavailability, requiring high doses to get results. But not ours!
